Barcelona are monitoring a surprise summer transfer for Everton forward Richarlison, according to a report in Marca.
The Brazilian has netted 13 goals in 35 appearances for the Merseyside club since a summer switch from Watford and has scored three times in eight international caps.
Everton signed him in a deal worth €40m from the Hornets, who had in turn signed the 21-year-old for €12m from Fluminense 12 months prior.
The report cites the ‘excellent relationship’ between The Toffees and Barca, nodding to the three players who moved to Goodison Park from the Catalan giants last summer – Yerry Mina, Andre Gomes and Lucas Digne.
However, Richarlison is set to command a fee upwards of €50m while he also does not yet possess a European passport – Barca only have space for three such players in their squad.
