Barcelona's Sergio Busquets is not surprised by Ajax's progress into the Champions League semi final, and believes they could go all the way and win it.
The Spanish international was speaking after his side's 3-0 win over Manchester United, putting them into the last four, where they will face either Liverpool or Porto.
However, the heroics of Barcelona and Lionel Messi were thrown into the shadow as Ajax won 2-1 away at Juventus, to reach the last four for the first time since 1997 and the experienced midfielder was full of praise for the young Dutch side.
"Ajax can certainly reach the final and win it.
"It is no surprise that they are in the semi final, they are a spectacular team.
"Juventus were favourites, but Ajax have earned their place."
Barcelona ended their own two year wait for a Champions League semi final spot, and the 30 year-old is pleased to be back in contention to win the competition.
"We are positive after tonight's result and it was a good performance.
"We are happy to be back, but we must keep going."
