Serie A side Juventus are reportedly keen on signing French international Raphael Varane this summer.
The story, which emerged in Diario Sport this weekend, comes after a report in L'Equipe last week claimed that the centre back was considering his future at Real Madrid.
Varane, 25, joined Los Blancos from Ligue 1 side Lens in 2011 and he has established himself as first choice centre back alongside club captain Sergio Ramos, with 165 appearances for Real Madrid.
However, Real Madrid are unlikely to sanction a move away for Varane, who has three years left on his contract, particularly as no club is in a position to activate his release clause of €500m.
Premier League side Manchester United are also reported to be on the list of interested parties for Varane, however the only way they could fund a move for the defender is via player exchange with Paul Pogba.
