The former agent of highly-rated Napoli central defender Kalidou Koulibaly has claimed Barcelona have previously tried to sign him.
The Senegal international has come to be recognised as one of the best defenders in the world and has been linked with a move away from the Partenopei.
“When I was his agent, Real Madrid never showed up for him, unlike Barcelona,” Bruno Satin told Radio Kiss, as cited by El Mundo Deportivo.
“He is a player who can aspire to go to any club, but he's very happy at Napoli.”
Reports have suggested the Italian club would only be willing to sell the 27-year-old defender for upwards of €100m, which may have scuppered any move in previous transfer windows.
