Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez is not looking to remain at Bayern Munich beyond his loan spell this season, according to reports in Marca.
The Colombian international is out of contract with Real Madrid this summer, and he will end a two year loan period with the Bavarian side at the end of the Bundesliga season.
Bayern do have a purchase option on the former Monaco playmaker, and previous comments from club chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge indicated ha he would remain a he club, however no bid has been made.
If Niko Kovac's side decide against making his move permanent, he is unlikely to return to Spain, with a move to Italy reported to be his preferred destination, with Juventus and Napoli both reported to be keen on him.
