Barcelona want to sign Valencia striker Rodrigo Moreno and are confident of signing him for less than his €120m release clause, say El Mundo Deportivo.
The Spain international has struggled a little for form this season – netting 11 goals in all competitions but just five in 24 La Liga appearances.
The 28-year-old joined Los Che in 2014 from Benfica, initially on a loan deal and has gone on to win 15 caps for Spain, scoring four times.
Despite his clause standing at €120m, the report claims, ‘Valencia know nobody will pay that figure’ and are willing to sell for significantly less.
The Brazil-born striker began his career at Real Madrid and also had a short playing stint at Bolton Wanderers.
