Real Madrid plan €350m Neymar bid – report

Real Madrid are prepared to pay €350m to sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain this summer to help launch the club rebuild, say Diario Sport.

The Brazilian joined the Parisians in a world record €222m fee from Barcelona in the summer of 2017 but has long been linked with a return to Spanish football.

Madrid president Florentino Perez is said to be particularly keen on the move, with the report claiming he has lost patience with the young players at the club.

“Real Madrid is one of the biggest clubs in the world and any player would want to play there,” Neymar told Esporte Spectacular earlier this month.

“I am happy in Paris, I am really good, but nobody knows the future.

“I am not saying I will play for Real Madrid. I have already played for Barcelona and that was a childhood dream.”

It is said that Madrid are willing to increase the Brazilian’s salary from €36m per season to €45m.
