Arthur aiming for El Clasico return

Barcelona have received an injury boost ahead of the upcoming El Clasico double header, with the news that midfielder Arthur Melo has returned to first team training.

The Brazilian international has been sidelined with a hamstring injury he suffered in their Copa del Rey first leg tie against their bitter rivals on February 6th.

Initial reports had ruled him out for a month, but he has now returned to full training and could be back in time for the return leg at the Santiago Bernanbeu on February 27th.

However, despite optimism surrounding his comeback, manager Ernesto Valverde has insisted that he will not be rushed back into action.

"I don't yet know if he will be fit for the first El Clasico. He could play next week, but we will have to make a decision closer to the time."
