The agent of Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen has claimed his client is ignoring current speculation linking him with a move to Spanish football.
Real Madrid and Barcelona have both been heavily linked with a move for the Denmark playmaker, whose contract at Spurs expires in the summer of 2020.
“Christian only wants to focus himself on football,” his agent Martin Schoots told ESPN FC.
“Besides his technical, tactical and athletic skills, also this attitude has contributed over the years to his impressive transformation from world class talent to world class player.
“At this moment I would prefer not to join the speculations about contracts and transfers.”
Last month, Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino told reporters: “He is happy here, he is showing his commitment.
“Then, what is going to happen between him and the club is not only in our hands.”
