Juventus will bid €40m for Real Madrid defender Marcelo in the summer according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport.
According to the report, the Italian giants are keen to reunite Marcelo with former Real teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, and they were linked with a bid during the winter transfer window.
However, no offer materialised, and Marcelo, who is under contract until 2022, remains in Madrid until at least the end of the current season.
That resolve is set to be tested in the summer, when Max Allegri's side will offer him a €12m per season salary to lure him to Italy.
Marcelo has been rotated by manager Santiago Solari in recent weeks, with promising defender Sergio Reguilon often preferred to the experience of the Brazilian international – who is in his 13th season at the club.
Ronaldo is also reported to have already reached out to the left back, to encourage him to make the move, should an offer be forthcoming.
