Juan Carlos Restrepo, the foster father of James Rodriguez, believes the Colombian international could return to Real Madrid.
The playmaker is currently entering the final six months of a two-season loan deal at Bayern Munich, who hold a reported €35m option to sign him permanently.
“I do not know about his future, there may be more offers coming in but I know he likes being in Munich,” Restrepo said, as cited by Marca.
“He is happy, he is very motivated and is working really hard, he is in an environment where there is a high level of play and physically he is well.
“It is unfortunate he is not currently at Madrid because that is the club he loves, although he enjoyed many beautiful moments at the club.
“He is a fan of the club and they remain in his heart, so on that basis he would be open to a return should the cards fall that way.
“Madrid own his rights and should he keep performing well, who knows? It would be possible.”
