PSG’s Jese Rodriguez ‘set for’ Real Valladolid

Former Real Madrid and Las Palmas forward Jese Rodriguez will join Real Valladolid from Paris Saint-Germain this summer, say reports.

ESPN cite a report in L’Equipe that the 25-year-old – who spent last season on loan at Stoke City but scored just once in 13 appearances – is closing on a return to Spain.

Real Betis are said to have turned down the opportunity to sign the forward who has not featured in any matchday squad for the Parisians this season.

Jese scored three goals in 16 appearances for his hometown club Los Amarillos in a loan stint in the second half of 2016/17 after netting just twice in 14 appearances in Paris.

The former Spain Under-21 international made a total of 94 first-team appearances for Real Madrid and previously had been linked with a loan move to Huesca.
