Valencia forward Santi Mina has criticised his side for ‘playing with no personality’ and going through phases where ‘everything is missing’.
Los Che have won just three of their 14 La Liga games to date and have been eliminated from the group stage of the Champions League this campaign.
“Our performance was shabby, particularly in the first half,” Valencia forward Santi Mina said after Saturday’s game, as cited by El Pais.
“We are playing without personality, without any depth to our play – everything is missing and we must learn from this quickly.
“We know we are not doing the right things, we are discussing this and trying to rectify it but it is not an easy process.”
