Atletico Madrid defender Lucas Hernandez insists his side ‘must improve’ after a disappointing 1-1 draw at Leganes on Saturday.
Diego Simeone’s side once again looked blunt in front of goal, with Antoine Griezmann’s magnificent free-kick the only goal for the visitors in an all-Madrid affair, with the hosts remaining in the relegation zone.
“Since the final whistle our full attention turns to Borussia Dortmund,” Lucas told reporters, as cited by Marca.
“We have to start thinking about it straight away because we are hurting and must focus on bouncing back straight away.
“We conceded a stupid goal from a set piece which we should not have let happen, it is against our identity and what we work towards.
“We did not allow them to create any big opportunities but that moment came when we had control of the game, we must improve on this.”
