James Rodriguez ‘considering Bayern Munich exit’

James Rodriguez is considering leaving Bayern Munich while the German champions have not completed his purchase option, say reports.

German outlet Sport Bild say the Colombian could exit the Bavarian giants in either of the next two transfer windows as he is not happy at the club.

There is said to be interest in the playmaker from ‘Juventus and clubs in England’ while Bayern are keen to hold a meeting with the player’s representatives to clarify his future.

The 27-year-old is in the second year of a two-season long loan deal at the German champions but he is reportedly unhappy at a lack of playing time – starting just four league games this season.

The former Porto and Monaco star joined the German champions last summer in a loan agreement worth €10m, with Bayern also possessing a €35m option to buy at the end of that spell.
