Ajax duo Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt (pictured) ‘would both be delighted to join Barcelona’ according to goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen.
The Blaugrana’s backup goalkeeper and Dutch international spoke about his international teammates, believing they could one day join him at the Camp Nou.
“De Ligt and De Jong would be delighted to come to Barca,” Cillessen told Diario Sport.
“We have talked about it already, we share meals at the national team and we talk about lots of things, but they have mentioned what a great club Barca are.
“All my (national) teammates would love to play at the club, because they are one of the best teams in the world.
“It all depends on (Marc) Overmars (Ajax sporting director) what happens and I do not know what his plans are.”
“De Light is a very strong player, both physically and mentally, and he is only 19 years old, what he has already achieved is incredible.
“Recently he played a magnificent match against Bayern Munich in the Champions League and he recovered well against Germany in the Nations League.”
