Bayern Munich to complete move for Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez

Bayern Munich are to make their loan deal for Real Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez permanent by the end of the year, say reports.

The former Porto and Monaco star joined the German champions last summer in a two-year loan agreement worth €10m, with Bayern also possessing a €35m option to buy at the end of that spell.

Now Marca report, via Sport Bild, that a permanent deal for the Colombian will be completed by the end of the calendar year with Bayern keen to tie down his signature.

The 27-year-old completed a successful first season in Bavaria, netting eight times in 40 appearances including a goal against Los Blancos in the Champions League semi-final.

James has already netted two Bundesliga goals this season despite just one league start.
