Valencia have confirmed they have reached a ‘definitive agreement’ to sign Paris Saint-Germain winger Goncalo Guedes permanently.
The Portugal forward starred for Los Che on a season-long loan deal last season, helping bring Champions League football back to the Mestalla.
Reports suggest the deal is for an initial €40m alongside a further €10m in add-ons, doubling the fee the Parisians paid Benfica in January 2017 for his services.
“Valencia have reached a definitive agreement on Monday with PSG for the transfer of Portugal international Guedes,” read a Valencia statement.
“The player will travel to Valencia on Tuesday to sign his contract as a new Valencia player.”
The 21-year-old had frequently spoken of his desire to return permanently to the Mestalla after netting five goals and providing nine assists in 27 La Liga appearances last season.
