Roma are in ‘very advanced’ negotiations to sign Roma midfielder Steven N’Zonzi, according to reports in the Spanish press.
Cadena Cope expect a deal for the French midfielder to be completed this week and say the Italian club will pay an initial €30m plus a further €5m in variables.
However, Radio Marca in Sevilla believe the deal for the former Blackburn and Stoke midfielder will be even lower – coming in at just €24m alongside €7m in potential add-ons.
Both reports say the Andalusian club have given up hope of retaining the France international, whose contract contains a €40m release clause, but who is clear in his intention to leave.
