Barca will wait for Pogba

Although the transfer market in England is closed, Barcelona are prepared to wait to sign Manchester United’s Paul Pogba.

The Catalans still have until August 31 to bring the Frenchman to the Camp Nou and, according to Mundo Deportivo, the operation is still not closed.

Pogba wants to leave United due to his fractured relationship with manager Jose Mourinho, with both he and his agent Mino Raiola working together to try and make this happen.

The Reds have not had any signs from the player himself he is ready to remain at Old Trafford, and the report even quotes former United defender Rio Ferdinand as having said that someone within the club must come out and dispel the rumours surrounding Pogba’s situation.

One obstacle the Catalans must overcome is that there are no buy-out clauses in English football, although players can still put in an official transfer request.
