Barcelona do not have the budget to sign Manchester United star Paul Pogba but will return for Ajax midfielder Frenkie De Jong, say Diario Sport.
The 21-year-old registered seven assists from 22 Eredivisie appearances last term and has been linked with a switch to the Camp Nou for several months.
He has been playing a key role in the Dutch club’s Champions League qualification playoffs and reports have suggested the club’s progress through these ties is influential for any deal.
Sport say Barca will return with a €50m bid for the central midfielder, a deal which will be enough to persuade the Amsterdam-based club to sell this summer.
