Valencia, PSG meet on Goncalo Guedes

The owners of Valencia and Paris Saint-Germain have been locked in discussions to secure a deal for Goncalo Guedes, say reports.

Los Che supremo Peter Lim is reported by Marca, via RMC Sport in France, to have met with high-ranking PSG officials in his native Singapore to conclude a deal.

The French champions are in the Asian nation on their pre-season tour but winger Guedes was excluded from their travelling party as his exit appears to move closer.

The 21-year-old starred at the Mestalla last season on a loan deal while reports in France suggest PSG could sell the winger for €40-50m to meet their Financial Fair Play demands.

Super Deporte say Guedes is keen to force a permanent move to the Mestalla due to the guarantee of first-team football and his happiness during his season-long loan spell.

Earlier this month, Cadena Ser reported a Premier League club – thought to be Arsenal – had enquired with the Parisians regarding the forward but he had his heart set on a return to Los Che.
