Rafinha Alcantara has called on Barcelona to re-sign his brother Thiago from Bayern Munich but admits he does not know his own future.
Spain international Thiago joined Bayern Munich from the Catalan giants in 2013 while Rafinha spent the second half of last season on loan at Inter.
“I want to see Thiago play for Barcelona again,” Rafinha told reporters on Tuesday, as cited by El Mundo Deportivo.
“He would fit into the style of play with this team perfectly and he is familiar with many (from the national team and former Barca days).
“My own future? I honestly do not know, there is a lot of talk but I am not thinking about it, that is for other people to focus on.
“I want to play football, whether that is here or somewhere else.”
There had been rumours Thiago could leave Bayern this summer but the German champions would demand at least €70m for his signature.
