Valencia want United’s Fosu-Mensah

Valencia are keen on a loan arrangement with Manchester United for defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah, say reports in Spain.

Super Deporte say the English club initially made the proposal which was similar to the deal which saw Andreas Pereira spend last season on loan at the Mestalla.

However, whilst Valencia are keen on the deal it is reported that Coach Marcelino Garcia Toral and general manager Mateu Alemany want to include a purchase option.

Such a demand is unlikely to be accepted by the Red Devils and thus the 21-year-old is unlikely to join Los Che unless they lower their demands.

Joao Cancelo left Valencia on a permanent deal this summer while Diogo Dalot joined United from FC Porto.

Fosu-Mensah spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace.
