Juve to unveil Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo will be officially unveiled as a Juventus player on Monday following his €100m arrival from Real Madrid.

Juve tweeted ’16.07.18. Cristiano arrives in Turin’, along with a picture that read ‘stay tuned’, suggesting a plan of action for his big day was imminent.

Sky Sport Italia, in the meantime, expects the 33-year-old to hold a Press conference at 17:30 BST once he has arrived in Turin and undergone his medical.

Furthermore, the broadcaster did not mention the prospect of the Bianconeri opening their stadium for the presentation in its report.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, who scored 450 goals in 438 appearances for Madrid, completed a €100m transfer to the Italian champions on Tuesday.

In the meantime, AS reports Ronaldo has ended his holiday in Greece and headed back to the Spanish capital, where he will ‘collect some belongings and resolve some personal matters’ over the weekend.

The Portuguese will also use the trip to say goodbye to some of his old friends at the Santiago Bernabeu, before heading to Turin for his presentation on Monday and beginning his four-year contract with the Bianconeri.
