Cristiano Ronaldo agrees to join Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo has accepted a four-year contract with Italian champions Juventus in a deal worth €30m per season.

A report by Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio states there is total agreement between the player and the club with just a transfer fee now required.

The Portuguese star is the subject of all of the Spanish papers leading stories on Friday morning, with Diario AS suggesting an ‘exit is imminent’ while Marca say Ronaldo has give the Old Lady ‘his word’.

The 33-year-old has a €1 billion release clause in his deal with Madrid but the reports suggest the European champions will be willing to do business for €100m.

Ronaldo signed for Madrid in 2009 from Manchester United and has cemented his status as a global star, winning four Champions League titles with the club and two La Liga crowns.
