Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi admits ‘it would be great’ for his club to land Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.
The Portuguese forward has been strongly linked with a shock exit from the European champions this summer with various reports stating the Italian champions have lodged a bid.
“Juve signing Ronaldo? That would be nice, it would be great to have him at Juve,” Matuidi – who is preparing for France’s World Cup quarter-final with Uruguay – told reporters, as cited by ESPN FC.
On Wednesday night, Sky Sport Italia gave a further update on the situation, reiterating the desire of both the player and Juve to get a done deal this summer.
