Italian champions Juventus are working on a landmark deal to sign Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, according to reports.
Marca lead their Wednesday edition with reports that the attacker is ‘serious about leaving’ and that his relationship with Madrid president Florentino Perez is ‘broken’.
The previous day, the same outlet said the Bianconeri will offer the Portuguese star a four-year deal while Madrid have ‘promised a great discount’ on his reported €1 billion release clause.
Portuguese sports daily A Bola backs up such reports and states negotiations are already underway between the two clubs regarding a potential deal.
Sky Sport Italia transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio has since claimed Ronaldo has ‘invited’ Juve to make an offer for him, and the club are currently studying a proposal.
Di Marzio has also said that the idea came from agent Jorge Mendes – who also represents recent Juve signing Joao Cancelo – and invited the Bianconeri to make an offer.
Suggestions are that any offer could be in the region of €100m-120m for the former Sporting CP and Manchester United star.
