Sevilla are close to completing the transfer of Red Bull Salzburg defender Duje Caleta-Car, according to reports in the Spanish press.
The 21-year-old has already played 130 games for Salzburg and was called up to Croatia’s World Cup squad, while he would reportedly cost €10-15m.
El Mundo Deportivo reported on Saturday that the central defender has been prioritised by Los Rojiblancos to replace Clement Lenglet, who is said to be Barcelona-bound.
Marca now report the Lenglet deal is almost done and they too state a deal is close for Caleta-Car, who joined the Austrian club in 2014.
The deal would follow that of Ibrahim Amadou from French side Lille for a reported €15m alongside the permanent arrival of Roque Mesa.
