Midfielder Ibraham Amadou has arrived in Seville ahead of underdoing a medical with Sevilla on Monday, say reports in Spain.
The Lille holding midfielder is joining Los Rojiblancos for a reported €15m with a statement on the club’s website saying he will put pen to paper on a four-year contract.
The 25-year-old made 102 appearances in three seasons for Lille and reunites with right-back and former teammate Sebastien Corchia, who moved to the Andalusian club last summer.
Amadou has yet to pledge his international allegiance to France or Cameroon, although he played twice for Les Bleus’ Under-19 team.
This will be Sevilla’s second signing of the summer transfer window following an agreement for Roque Mesa from Swansea City.
