Barcelona are scouting French football to secure a new right-back ahead of next season, according to reports in the Spanish press.
A report in Diario Sport states Sergi Roberto is likely to be handed a new central midfield role next season, due to Andres Iniesta’s departure and several other expected exits.
Aleix Vidal is also set to depart the Camp Nou this summer, leaving Portuguese defender Nelson Semedo (pictured left) as the only natural right-back in the first-team squad.
The report does not name any specific players on Barca’s shortlist but states Ligue 1 based players are on the club’s desired list of players.
