Hirving Lozano’s father has confirmed that Barcelona have made ‘approaches’ for the PSV and Mexico star.
Lozano was reported as a Real Madrid target on Friday, but his dad has since suggested that the attacker is closer to their arch-rivals.
“Barca? There are approaches, yes, but nothing’s very clear yet,” he told ESPN.
“We’ll talk after the World Cup. I think when the World Cup finishes, we’ll see the reality, whether he’ll stay at PSV or go to another team.”
Lozano joined PSV from Pachuca last summer and scored 17 goals in his debut campaign help the Dutch side lift the Eredivisie title.
He also caught the eye during Mexico’s World Cup opener against Germany, netting the winner in a 1-0 victory for his country.
