Real Betis defender Riza Durmisi has arrived in Rome for his medical ahead of a €7m move to Lazio, it has been confirmed.
Earlier this week, Marca report an agreement has been struck between the two clubs with the full-back and that confirmation of a move ‘was imminent’, with the player set to double his wages.
ABC de Seville then reported that the deal is ‘practically done’ for the Dane and to expect an official announcement soon, with the deal for an initial €7m with an additional €1m in bonuses.
The 24-year-old joined Los Verdiblancos from Brondby in the summer of 2016 and excelled across his first 18 months at the club.
However, youth product Junior Firpo was often preferred in the left wing-back position during the second half of last season by Coach Quique Setien.
Durmisi, who has won 23 caps for his nation, was not included in Denmark’s 23-man squad for this summer’s World Cup tournament.
