Roma want Sevilla’s Sergio Rico

Sevilla goalkeeper Sergio Rico has emerged as a transfer target for Roma, who are anticipating the exit of Alisson Becker to Real Madrid.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper endured a tough season with Los Rojiblancos and lost his regular starting spot to David Soria in the latter stages of the campaign.

Onda Cero report the Sevilla youth product is on a list of potential replacements for the Brazil international at Roma with the Spanish club open to a potential move.

Reports in Spain had also suggested Watford were a leading candidate for the goalkeeper while Arsenal, Milan and Napoli have all also been linked.

Rene Ramos, brother of Real Madrid captain Sergio, is now the representative acting on behalf of Rico, states ABC de Sevilla.
