Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic has taken to social media to lambast reports of him joining Barcelona this summer as ‘fake news’.
The Bosnian international has been linked with a move to the Blaugrana with reports further fuelled by the player ‘liking’ a photo of a report of him moving to the Camp Nou.
“Mamma mia, just for one like on a photograph,” wrote the midfielder on Instagram.
“At least read what was written – fake news.”
The 28-year-old, who joined the Bianconeri from Roma in 2016, has been one of a host of players to be linked to the Catalan giants.
El Mundo Deportivo floated the suggestion over the weekend, stating that officials at Barca believe Pjanic would be an ideal replacement for the departed Andres Iniesta.
