Lazio will attempt to sign Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes should the in-demand Sergej Milinkovic-Savic depart this summer, say reports in Spain.
The out-of-favour Portuguese international looks set to depart the Camp Nou this summer and could be allowed to exit at a cut-price deal due to his willingness to leave.
A report in El Mundo Deportivo now states that Lazio are prioritising the former Valencia midfielder should the highly-rated Milinkovic-Savic leave Rome this summer.
Reports have linked the Serbian midfielder with a move away with Juventus and Manchester United both strongly to his signature, although no deal has yet been agreed.
Gomes, who has not been included in Portugal’s World Cup squad, has previously been linked with a move to Juve.
