Bayern Munich defender David Alaba admits ‘things can go very fast’ in football and did not play down links with a move to Real Madrid.
The Austrian international has been rumoured with a move to the European champions, who are reportedly keen to reinforce their defensive options this summer.
“In football, things can go very fast but now there is nothing concrete,” Alaba is cited as saying by Marca.
“At the moment, I am focused on the Austrian national team and that is all that I can think about, then after that it will be my pre-season in Munich.
“We want to try to be on top again as we did not meet all the goals of our season.”
Bayern crashed out of the semi-finals of the Champions League to Madrid and lost the German Cup final to Eintracht Frankfurt, although they did win the Bundesliga title.
