Adrian: Betis? I’m still at West Ham

West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian remained unclear on his future amid links with a return to Real Betis this summer.

The 31-year-old has spent five seasons at the East London club having moved from his boyhood club Betis in the summer of 2013 while his contract runs out next summer.

“Betis? I have one more year of contract and I have to listen to West Ham,” Adrian told an interview with Radio Marca.

“The rumours with Betis have always been there, but they are club who already have goalkeepers so the situation is not that simple.

“Last season? In the end I kept showing that I was at a good level, the statistics are there, they never lie.”

Adrian made 19 league starts this season for the Hammers while Joe Hart has already returned to Manchester City following a loan spell.

Betis have reportedly signed Espanyol goalkeeper Pau Lopez while Dani Gimenez has joined Deportivo, with the future of Antonio Adan remaining unclear.
