Real Madrid defender Marcelo insists his side can not only focus on Liverpool’s front three but their entire starting line-up.
Much has been made of the goal threat posed by Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane but the Brazilian believes Madrid cannot focus on them alone.
“I know how we must play and I know what I must do to help my team play,” Marcelo told reporters, as cited by Marca.
“We know how strong Liverpool are, what type of season they have had, but we must focus on their entire team and not just certain attackers.
“This will be difficult we know, but this is a Champions League final and every match in the competition, right from the start, is hard.
“These are two attacking teams and we know what we must do, we know anything can happen in a final and we need to be ready for it.
“Personally, I am very happy with my performances, I do not think I have anything to prove – I go about my work and try to do my best.
“This match will be a great spectacle for fans.”
