Playmaker Andreas Pereira has returned to Manchester United following the expiration of his season-long loan deal at Valencia.
The Brazilian, who previously enjoyed a loan spell at Granada, impressed in his stint at the Mestalla, making 23 La Liga appearances as the club returned to the Champions League.
Pereira took to Twitter to write: “I arrived at Valencia with the aim of helping the club reach the place it belongs and together we have achieved our aim.
“Today, I return to Manchester United, but I will carry this club and the fans in my heart forever. Thanks to everyone.”
United had been reluctant to sanction the Brazilian’s move to Valencia last summer and the player reportedly believes he is ready for first-team action with the Red Devils.
