Madrid to make Alisson bid?

Real Madrid are ready to make a bid for Roma goalkeeper Alisson after his impressive season in Italy.

The Serie A giants are keen to tie the Brazil international to a long-term deal but his form during the club’s Champions League run has alerted some of Europe’s top clubs, including Liverpool and Manchester United.

However, according to RMC Sport, Los Blancos intend to table an offer for the 25-year-old after holding talks with his representatives, and he could cost around €70m.

The former Inter stopper has a contract with Roma until June 2021 and the club’s general manager Mauro Baldissoni has said the player’s future will be decided at the end of the season.

Madrid appear to have given up on tempting United to part with David de Gea as they are unwilling to match his wages, and have so far been unsuccessful with Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois.

Consequently, they have now turned to Alisson as they seek a replacement for Keylor Navas.
