Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian has emerged as a summer transfer target for Valencia, according to reports in the Spanish press.
Radio Esport Valencia journalist Julio Insa reports the Italian international is on Los Che’s radar, although Juventus are also in the hunt for his signature.
The 28-year-old has struggled for playing time at Old Trafford this season, making just five English Premier League appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side.
“There’s nostalgia for Italy and I do miss it, let’s finish the season and then we’ll evaluate things,” Darmian is cited as saying by Sky.
“Juventus? This interest is pleasing, Juve are a great club and to be of interest to a club like that is important.
“We’ll definitely make the right evaluations at the end of the season.”
