Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is ‘loved’ by Real Madrid and would be a ‘perfect fit’ for Los Blancos, insists former Egypt striker Mido.
The 25-year-old has been in stunning form for the English club this campaign, netting 40 goals in 45 appearances since a summer switch from Roma.
“Real Madrid love him and he would be perfect for them,” Mido told King Fut, as cited by Marca.
“We have all seen how fantastic Mo has been this season while Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema have been very disappointing in the 4-4-2 system.
“I was initial afraid that Salah would not succeed at Liverpool but you can see he is already set to move up to the next level and he would be a fit for Madrid.
“I believe he is the greatest player of Egyptian football.”
