Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Leandro Paredes admits transfer links to Real Madrid and Juventus are ‘an honour’ for him.
The Argentinean has netted three goals in 22 league appearances this season for Roberto Mancini’s side and has thrived since joining from Roma last year.
“It is an honour for me to hear of the interest from Real Madrid and Juventus,” Paredes, 23, is cited as telling RMC Sport by Diario AS.
“I do not want these rumours to distract me but after the World Cup this summer I will look to make a decision, but it will not be easy.
“I would need to think about all the options available to me but the reality is I am young, but I am ready for the challenge of playing for a big club like Madrid.
“However, I have lots of friends in Turin but the environment of Madrid would help motivate someone like me, surrounded by champions.
“You never know what the future holds but we will see again after this season.”
