Sevilla midfielder Pablo Sarabia insists the team have ‘cleansed their mind’ from back-to-back defeats to Bayern Munich and Celta Vigo.
The Andalusian side lost the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final 2-1 in Seville last week before following it up with a four-goal defeat in Vigo on Saturday.
“We have cleansed the mind,” Sarabia told Radio Marca, as cited as saying by El Desmarque.
“It has not been an easy week of course but we had to cleanse our mind and we have done in the past few days, now we are dreaming again.
“We have to have a good game, to find our passing rhythm and to forget the results we have had.
“It is a season of ups and downs but our team is mentally strong and we know we have to think match by match.
“We know we have been wasteful in front of goal but we know our transitional play is strong and know where we must improve.”
