On Tuesday, RMC Sport in France reported the former Monaco striker was seeking an exit from Old Trafford due to lack of first-team playing opportunities.
Subsequently, The Independent reported Italian champions Juventus, Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain and Atleti are three clubs who could be a possible destination.
The 22-year-old joined the Red Devils in a £59m deal in the summer of 2015 but has fallen down the pecking order under Mourinho following the arrivals of Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku.
However, the report acknowledges that United would be extremely reluctant to sell the Frenchman and will attempt to persuade him to stay.
