Ramos rallies Madrid to ‘finish’ Juve

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has rallied his teammates to ‘finish off’ Juventus in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final.

The central defender will miss the match due to suspension – following a booking in the first leg in Turin last week – with his side holding a three-goal advantage, in a repeat of last season’s final.

“I can’t play against Juventus [due to suspension], but any footballer loves the atmosphere in those games,” Ramos is cited as saying by Real Madrid club media.

“They are unique encounters and emotions, games in which the fans really lift us. It’s now time to finish off the tie at the Bernabéu against Juventus.

“In the Champions League every match is difficult and we have 90 minutes left against Juventus in which we’ll give our all.”
