Getafe midfielder Mauro Arambarri has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after suffering a fracture in his left foot.
The incident occurred in training last week with the 22-year-old fracturing his fifth metatarsal in his left foot, the Madrid-based club confirmed in a statement on Tuesday.
The Uruguayan midfielder arrived at the Coliseum from French club Bordeaux last summer and has impressed over the course of the season, starting 26 La Liga matches for Jose Bordalas’s side.
Having begun his career at Defensor Sporting in his home country, Arambarri spent a year in France before joining Los Azulones.
