Paul Pogba sat out Manchester United training on Monday ahead of his side’s crunch Champions League match with Sevilla.
The French midfielder sustained an injury in Friday’s training session and was ruled out of the weekend victory at home to Liverpool, and now faces a race against time to be fit for the Spanish side.
Anthony Martial and Zlatan Ibrahimovic both returned to United training on Monday but Phil Jones, Ander Herrera, Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo were all absent.
“I don't know,” United boss Jose Mourinho said on Saturday of Pogba's return.
“He's downstairs now and I will go and speak with him. The injury? It was contact with a player in the last minute of the training session (on Friday).
“If I finished the session one minute before it wouldn't have happened.”
Eric Bailly also returned to United training following an injury scare against Liverpool.
