Liverpool are considering a move for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos this summer to bolster their squad, according to reports.
The 21-year-old joined the Spanish and European champions in a €16m deal from Real Betis last year but has found playing time limited at the Bernabeu.
Ceballos has started only two La Liga matches this season despite being fully fit and with injuries to Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, which have reportedly left him frustrated.
A report in the Daily Mirror suggests the Merseyside club are considering an approach for the Spain Under-21 this summer, which would coincide with the anticipated departure of Emre Can.
The midfielder was linked to a return to Betis in January but due to his registration already changing once to a Spanish club in the season, such a move was blocked by La Liga.
